Like most swimming clubs Canvey Island Swimming club is run by volunteers. Each volunteer has their own role within the club to ensure that the club runs smoothly and continues to meet its legal obligations and its obligations to Swim England as the sports governing body. 

CISC Is a non profit organisation.

The Club holds SwimMark accreditation, Swim England's quality standard for clubs, which recognises high standards of governance, sustainability and effectiveness.
